A. J. Palumbo Center may be a four,406-seat multi-purpose arena within the Uptown space of urban center, Pennsylvania served by exits on each interstate 376 and interstate 579. The rostrum opened in 1988, and is a component of Duquesne University. It’s home to the Duquesne Dukes basketball, volleyball and wrestling programs. The middle hosts concerts, boxing, and alternative special events, and is capable of changing the seating arrangement into a sport, stage, or theatre setup. The ability was named in honor of its helper, Antonio J. Palumbo, WHO was electoral to the Duquesne University board of administrators and, in 1987, received Associate in Nursing unearned degree of Business and Administration from Duquesne.
Performance Magazine, a concert mag, has systematically hierarchal the Palumbo Center mutually of the highest ten grossing arenas of its size since its gap in 1988.
