Made in 1962, the area was the primary public assembly facility within the Mid-South with air-conditioning. Having served the larger capital of Tennessee space with several various events for fifty years, these days the area could be a standard venue in capital of Tennessee for major road family shows, like benny Street Live, The Wiggles, The Doodlebops, Barney, Bob the Builder,Disney Live, city district Globetrotters, and also the annual Al Menah Temple Shrine Circus. The venue continues to serve niche concert markets, like various rock, rock ‘n’ roll, significant metal, pop, R&B, urban, oldies and Hispanic concerts.
