The Noguchi repository, leased because the Noguchi Foundation and Garden repository, was designed and created by the Japanese-American sculptor Noguchi. Gap on a restricted basis to the general public in 1985 the aim of the repository and foundation was and remains to preserve and show Noguchi’s sculptures, beaux arts models, stage styles, drawings, and furnishings styles. The 2 story repository and adjacent sculpture garden, situated in island town section of Queens, one block from the Socrates Sculpture Park, underwent major renovations in 2004 permitting the repository to remain open year spherical.
