American industrial and Savings Bank is found in Downtown Davenport, Iowa, u. S.. It’s listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The building is thought regionally because the Wells Fargo depository.The building was designed by the Chicago beaux arts firm of Weary and Alford.It was engineered by Walsh-Kahl Construction Company from 1926-1927.The new building mirrored the importance of the bank within the community.
The building is 10 stories with a steel frame coated with rock.The building has maintained its original banking space. It’s a multi-storied house with Associate in Nursing intricately painted ceiling. The house is lit by the massive Roman arched windows on the east elevation. The ceiling may be a cover of groin vaults and is painted during a multi-colored style. A painting by Davenport native Hiram Thompsen of the linguistic communication of the accord between the Algonquian and Meskwaki tribes and also the federal government when the Makataimeshekiakiak War hangs conspicuously on the south wall. It had been put in in 1928.
