Calvary Chapel of Fort Lauderdale’ is one amongst the biggest evangelical churches within the us. In line with the capital of Connecticut Institute for faith analysis, it’s the biggest megachurch in Everglade State, with around eighteen,000 worshipers attending on the average. Based in 1985 by Bob Coy, it’s related with the Calvary Chapel movement. In 1999, the church settled into a 75-acre (300,000 m2) tract of land once closely-held by Harris Corporation, that currently contains a three,700 seat sanctuary, kids and youth ministries, and includes a skateboard park.
The church offers 5 satellite church locations: in Plantation, FL, Hollywood, Boca Raton, Tavernier, and their newest church in Sandalfoot. Combined, these 5 locations minister to over three,500 on a weekly basis via net broadcast.
