Pointe W. E. B. Du Bois could be a tiny community situated northeast of Winnipeg, Manitoba, in Associate in Nursing unorganised section of Census Division No. 1. Pointe W. E. B. Du Bois includes a Canadian province Hydro generating station. It additionally has nice fishing for pickerel. Originally designed from a reference to the CPR at animal product du Bonnet to the town of Winnipeg’s Pointe W. E. B. Du Bois electricity generating station on the Winnipeg watercourse, to facilitate the transportation of construction materials and employees.
Passenger service by typical mixed train began in 1908. Starting in late 1911 a series of a gas trams and rail buses provided most rider service. Associate in Nursing extension to the remote Slave Falls generating station opened in 1929. In 1962 the Pointe W. E. B. Du Bois to animal product du Bonnet line was abandoned, ending concern rider service. Rider travel between the 2 dams continues by gas tram, however isn’t hospitable the general public.
