Sunalta may be a residential neighborhood within the south-west quadrant of Calgary, Alberta.It is placed within the eye, south-west of Downtown Calgary, south of The Bow stream and east of the community of Scarboro. It contains a balanced mixture of single-family detached home, condominium and living accommodations buildings.
It is pictured within the Calgary council by Ward eight representative John Mar, on a provincial level by Calgary-Buffalo MLA Kent Hehr, and at federal level by Calgary Centre MP Lee Richardson.The community was established in 1910 onto land annexed to town of Calgary in 1907 and antecedently closely-held by the Canadian Pacific Railway. The community has a part renovation set up in situ.
