Norwell could be a city in Plymouth County, Massachusetts, us. Norwell was 1st settled in 1634 as a neighborhood of the settlement of Satuit (later Scituate), that encompasses gift day Scituate and Norwell. It had been formally created, in 1849 and shortly became called South Scituate. The city modified its name to Norwell in 1888, named once Henry Norwell, a dry product merchandiser World Health Organization provided funds for the upkeep of the city roads. Early settlers were interested in Norwell for agricultural reasons, with the city later developing a significant industry, supported the North and Northwest rivers. Construction was a significant business within the eighteenth through the first nineteenth centuries. A number of the best frigates, schooners, whalers, and conveyance were created in Norwell. Norwell Village space Historic District is on the middle of the city.
