Detail InformationEdit

The playacting Garage is AN off-off-Broadway theater in SoHo, the big apple town. Established in 1968, it’s the permanent home of the experimental company originally named The Performance cluster (under Richard Schechner) that morphed in 1980 into The Wooster cluster (under Elizabeth LeCompte), and their primary performance venue.
Since 1978, it conjointly hosts their annual “Visiting creative person Series” or “Emerging creative person Series”. Set at thirty three Wooster Street, it seats roughly sixty. Actors like Willem Dafoe debuted in earnest here and often return.
