Port Saunders could be a community of 876 placed in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. The city of Port Saunders got its name once 3 British war ships came back from Battle Harbour, Labrador. A ship beneath the command of “Admiral Saunders” came here and Port Saunders bears his name to the current day.
In 1958, Cyde House engineered the primary fish plant within the space that split and salt-cured codfish. This crystal rectifier the method for any economic development of the city. The subsequent year saw the addition of a mercantile establishment, post workplace, and even an advert wharf was engineered.
