The Mount Royal Station and Trainshed was the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad’s third train depot in Baltimore, Maryland, at the north finish of the Baltimore Belt Line’s Howard Street tunnel within the modern Bolton Hill neighborhood. It had been the primary railway station within the World to possess electrified traveller trains once it opened on Sep one, 1896, serving the B&O’s noted purplish blue line. Following its closure as a railway station in 1961, it became a part of the Maryland Institute school of Art (MICA) in associate acclaimed adaptation conserving the building’s original branch of knowledge options. The building is currently used for transparent substance art studios.
