The Anchorage depository at Rasmuson Center may be a depository set in downtown Anchorage within the U.S. State of Last Frontier. Starting as a public-private partnership to celebrate the a centesimal day of remembrance of the Last Frontier purchase, it opened in 1968 with Associate in Nursing exhibition of sixty borrowed Last Frontier paintings and a group of two,500 historic and anthropology objects loaned from the native historical society, and also the depository has been enlarged many times since. Its official name is currently Anchorage depository at Rasmuson Center. The depository completed a $106-million addition and renovation project in might 2010.
