La Jara may be a census-designated place (CDP) in Sandoval County, New Mexico, u. S.. The population was 209 at the 2000 census. It’s a part of the urban center Metropolitan applied mathematics space. In step with the u. S. Federal agency, the CDP contains a total space of fourteen.2 sq. Miles (37 km2).
