The city of Prescott was platted in 1873, shortly when the Cairo & discoverer Railroad completed their line through the world of northern American state County. Prescott was incorporated on Gregorian calendar month six, 1874. Prescott may be a town and also the county courthouse of American state County, Arkansas. The community had a population of three,868 at the 2000 census. Prescott is an element of the Hope Micropolitan applied mathematics space.
