Finneytown may be a census-designated place (CDP) in Springfield administrative district, Hamilton County, Ohio, u. s., simply north of city. The population was thirteen,492 at the 2000 census. in step with the u. s. government agency, the CDP includes a total space of four.0 sq. miles (10km2), all of it land. Finneytown is known as for Ebenezer Ward Finney, whose graveyard is found simply south of this administrative district. The land was originally purchased from John Cleves Symmes by Rev. Ebenezer Ward, and given to his grandchild Ebenezer Ward Finney.
