Hnaunau (also spelled Honaunau) is associate unorganised community on the island of Hawaii in Hawaii County, Hawaii, u. s.. It lies simply off Hawaii Route eleven on the other facet of the island from Hilo, the county courthouse of Hawaii County. Its elevation is fifty two feet (16 m). as a result of the community has borne multiple names, the Board on Geographic Names formally selected it “Honaunau” in 1914 and 1954 before dynamic to this orthography in 2000. though it’s unorganised, it’s a post workplace, with the code 96726.
