Tuxpan may be a city and municipality within the Mexican state of Jalisco . The name “Tuxpan” comes from the Nahuatl word tochpan, a word accustomed describe wherever rabbits live. Some others translate as a location on top of the watercourse.
Tuxpan was based by the Toltec journey within the year 642 of our era. Later within the year 1529, the Spanish came to the population beneath the commands of Francisco conquistador of Buenaventura, kinsman of Hernando Cortez. However, the Franciscan friars based the village in 1536, noting the trace and engineered a convent therein year beneath the award of urban center Bautista.
