Prospect is Associate in Nursing unorganized community in Jackson County, Oregon, u. S.. It’s set on Oregon Route sixty two on the scoundrel watercourse, within the scoundrel watercourse National Forest.
Prospect began as a work city, with its 1st sawmill in operation in 1870.[1] Prospect had a post workplace established in 1882 that was 1st named “Deskins” when the primary master. In 1888, there was a mill named Deskins Sawmill. The name of the community was modified to “Prospect” in 1889 as a result of plans created to run a railroad up the scoundrel watercourse, which might apparently improve the community’s prospects.
On the Sabbatum of Memorial Day weekend, Prospect holds the Mill Creek Memorial pageant. It honors veterans with a parade, a flag retirement ceremony, live music and games for kids.
