It’s set on the South Fork of the Eel stream fifty two miles (84 km) sou’-sou’-east of Eureka, at AN elevation of 535 feet (163 m). The population was 913 at the 2010 us Census. It’s about two hundred miles (320 km) north of city, California, and inside a fifteen-minute drive to Humboldt Redwoods State Park and a sixty-minute drive to Eureka, the seat. The code is 95542. Garberville is that the primary city within the space called the Mateel Region, consisting of components of the Mattole and Eel stream watersheds in southern Humboldt and northern Mendocino counties.
