Detail InformationEdit

The Sir Leslie Stephen Van Rensselaer House at 149 Mulberry Street between Grand and Hester Streets within the very little Italian Republic neighborhood of Manhattan, the big apple town, was engineered c.1816 within the Federal vogue by Sir Leslie Stephen Van Rensselaer III. It had been originally set on the northwest corner of Mulberry and Grand, however in 1841 was rapt down the block to its current location. The two-story dormered home is typical of Federal-style row homes that were common at The Time in Manhattan below fourteenth Street. The house was selected a replacement dynasty town landmark in 1969, and in 1983 was superimposed to the National Register of Historic Places.
