Lakeside may be a Census selected Place (CDP) in city County, California. The population was twenty,648 at the 2010 census, up from 19,560 as of the 2000 census. Lakeshore began once the land that it’s on, close to Lindo Lake, was purchased by the El Cajon natural depression Land Company in 1886. It started as a resort city, primarily based round the once far-famed race course at Lindo Lake that automobile driver created illustrious in 1907. It had been once home to the historic lakeshore edifice, a destination for health and relaxation reached by an extended Day’s buggy ride or by train.
