Wellsboro could be a borough in Tioga County, Pennsylvania, fifty two miles northwest of Williamsport. Early within the twentieth century, Wellsboro was the shipping purpose and trade center for an oversized space. It had fruit evaporators, flour and woolen mills, a milk-condensing plant, marble works, saw mills, manufacturing plant and machine outlets, and manufactories of glassware, chemicals, rugs, bolts, cigars, carriages, and furnishings. In 1900, 2,945 individuals lived here; in 1910, 3,183 lived here. The population was three,328 at the 2000 census. It’s the seat of Tioga County, and additionally home to the Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania. In line with the u. S. Bureau, the borough contains a total space of four.9square miles (13Square kilometers), of which, 4.9square miles (13Square kilometers) of it’s land and zero.04square miles (0.10Square kilometer) of it (0.61%) is water.
