Conception Bay South may be a city in Newfoundland and geographical region, Canada. The city is often referred to as C.B.S.. As of 2006 the population was twenty one,966 that makes the city the third largest population centre within the province behind the cities of Mount Pearl and St. John’s. The community corresponds for the most part, however not specifically, to the boundaries of the electoral district of an equivalent name.
The city is found on the southern shore of Conception Bay on the Avalon terra firma of the island of Newfoundland. It’s some twenty kilometers southwest of the urban center, St. John’s. As such, the city is an element of the St. John’s subway space and most residents ar utilized within the close cities of St. John’s or Mount Pearl.
