Picture Butte may be a city in southern Canadian province, Canada. It’s situated twenty seven metric linear unit (17 mi) north of the town of Lethbridge. It claims the title of “Livestock Feeding Capital of North American country.”Radio temperament and thirty fourth on “The Greatest Canadian” list Hal Anderson was born in image Butte.
Picture Butte received its name from a prominence southeast of city. By 1947, however, the prominence’s soil had been reworked and used for street enhancements, road construction and a dyke on the shore of the image Butte Lake Reservoir. The prominence now not exists. Homesteading within the space began within the early twentieth century. The building of the Lethbridge Northern Irrigation System in 1923 and therefore the resuscitation railway line in 1925 excited associate degree flow of settlers.
