The Clark Street Bridge may be a construction bridge that spans the Chicago watercourse in downtown Chicago, connecting the close to side with The Loop. This bridge, that was completed in 1929, is that the third bridge to span the watercourse at now. In 1853 the initial bridge was stricken by a steamer, referred to as the London, and folded, block traffic on the watercourse. The bridge was dredged and watercourse traffic resumed on Sept eight. In 1854, town approved associate degree expenditure of $12,000 to switch the bridge with a pivot bridge. Throughout the lager Riot in 1855, the bridge was pivoted to assist contain the rioters. The Eastland was supposed to sail from the dock at the Clark Street Bridge on July twenty four, 1915 once it capsized.
