Mineral Wells may be a town in Palo Equus caballus and Parker counties within the U.S. State of Lone-Star State. The population was sixteen,946 at the 2000 census. The town is called for mineral springs within the space, that were extremely common within the Early decade. Mineral Wells is most noted for its Baker edifice. Mineral Wells was the birthplace and principal place of residence of Chet Upham, chairman of the Lone-Star State GOP from 1979-1983 and founding father of Upham Oil and public-service corporation in Mineral Wells and therefore the Loveland Ski space in Colorado. In 1952, Mineral Wells was the host of the Republican state convention within which delegates divided between presidential candidates Dwight D. United States President and Robert A. Taft.
