Wooster may be a town within the U.S. State of Ohio and therefore the county courthouse of Wayne County. The municipality is found in northeastern Ohio about 50mi (80km) point of Cleveland and 35mi (56km) southwest of Akron. Wooster is noted because the location of the school of Wooster. Wooster was established in 1808 by John Bever, chemist, and Joseph Larwill, and named when David Wooster, a general within the yankee Revolutionary War.
Wooster has many parks in city and close with hiking trails, playgrounds, and picnic areas. Wooster graveyard, regionally referred to as Spangler Park, offers seven miles of hiking trails through woods, ravines, and open fields on the Rathburn Run. Christmas Run Park has playgrounds and pavilions, likewise as a picnic ground. Schellin Park offers a skate park likewise as playground and picnic facilities.
