Cheviot may be a town set in west central Hamilton County, Ohio, us. The population was nine,015 at the 2000 census. In 1814 a Scottish migrant named John Craig purchased a 0.5 section of 320 acres (1.3km2) of inexperienced town from Elias Boudinot. He designed Associate in Nursing hostelry and edifice on the Harrison Pike. In 1818 Craig arranged out a village that he named once the domestic sheep Hills in southern European nation. He sold heaps and growth began. The city was incorporated in 1901. Originally a farming community, these days domestic sheep may be a residential suburban area of Cincinnati.
