Mayatan Bilingual college may be a non-profit, private, freelance bilingual (Spanish/English) co-educational day college placed in Copán Ruinas, Copán, Honduras. Within the 2010-11 academic year the enrollment was three hundred students from Pre-Kinder through eleventh grade. Mayatan’s initial highschool category entered in 2009-10 and can graduate in 2012. The college uses volunteer native English speakers, primarily from North America, because the lead lecturers for every category. Native lecturers teach Spanish and social studies and assist the lead lecturers at the younger grade levels. The college is closely-held Associate in Nursing operated by the Mayatan Foundation, and it depends on donations to produce scholarships to some forty fifth of its students. Scholarship sponsors return primarily from native businesses and friends, family, and teams from North America and Europe.
Mayatan Bilingual college is devoted to providing a various population of scholars, from pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade, with the simplest bilingual education attainable, thereby giving them the tools to become active, accountable, and au fait participants in their native, national, and world communities.
