Brentwood may be a hamlet of the city of Islip in Suffolk County, New York. The colony was established on March twenty one, 1851, on 750 acres (3 km²) of land on Long Island, New York, by Josiah Warren and author Pearl Andrews. It had been at first called contemporary world and later renamed Brentwood once the city of Brentwood, Essex, in England. Consistent with the us government agency, the CDP contains a total space of ten.1 sq. Miles (26.1 sq. Kilometers).
