The deposit itself conjointly contains the Space-Transit Planetarium, Weintraub Observatory and a life center. The deposit is presently operating to transplant the deposit from its current location to Park West at Bicentennial Park in Downtown Miami beside the Miami Art deposit.
Construction is ready to start on the new deposit in Downtown in late 2011, with a grand gap expected in late 2014. The deposit 1st started as “The Junior deposit of Miami” and was a personal non-profit organization established in 1949. It had been situated within a house on the corner of Biscayne street and twenty sixth Street. The deposit grew thus quickly that in 1952 it settled to the Miami Women’s Club building on Bayshore Drive.
