The Clark County Historical depository, Vancouver, Washington, is found in a very 1909 Carnegie library and is operated by the Clark County Historical Society, established in 1917. The depository options rotating exhibits of native interest as well as a semi-permanent Native yank craft exhibit. The Society is devoted to the gathering, preservation, and interpretation of the cultural history of Clark County and therefore the geographical area, and to sponsoring instructional programs and exhibits for the enrichment of all members of the general public.
The Clark County Historical depository may be a 501(C)3 non-profit organization. The Clark County Historical Society operates the depository in partnership with Clark County and therefore the town of Vancouver. Extra funding helps sustain the operation of the depository and comes in several forms including: Clark County Historical Society membership dues, non-public and foundation grants, company sponsorships, in-kind gifts, and donations.
