The flora and fauna museum is a very informative tourist location in Kodaikanal and is popularly acknowledged as Shenbaganur Museum. This museum maintains fossils as well as wide forms of the flora and fauna of this hilly region and has an orchidaceous plant that has an accumulation of about 300 species of endemic as well as exotic orchids. The museum is also home to an impressive collection of stuffed birds, butterflies, reptiles and mammals.

Flora and fauna Museum, also known as Shenbaganur Museum exhibits preserved fossils along with wide varieties of fauna and flora and a magnificent collection of 300 species of exotic and indigenous orchids. This museum is preserved and maintained by Sacred Heart College which is a Theological Seminary that was organized in the year 1895. A Spanish–Father Ugarthe, contributed his major collections to the Museum.
