Subrahmanya temple and sometimes Palani temple. It is devoted to Lord Subramanian or Dhandayuthapani. The word Dhandayuthapani signifies of holding a stick in the hand as a weapon. It is one of the well-known temples in South India and is nestled at an elevation of 135 meters. Devotees need to scramble the 659 steps or can attain the winch facility to reach the temple.

The Subramanya or the Karthikeya temple is renowned as Palani temple. The temple is dedicated to Lord Subramanian that stands as one of the most famous South Indian temples at an altitude of 135 meters. Tai Pusam held in the month of January is the renowned festivals of this temple. The Panguni Uttaram is another festival celebrated by locals in the month of April which attracts many tourists from across the country and globe to be part of this festival.
