Bharati Buwa’s Mutt is considered to be one of the holy ashrams in Tuljapur. It was established by Saint Bharati Buwa, a devotee of Tuljabhavani Devi. Local inhabitants believe that Tuljabhavani Devi wakes up in the morning, only if called by Saint Bharati Buwa. The saint is also believed to be an incarnation of Lord Shiva and also believed to play dice games with Tuljabhavani in the evening.
