Arabat Spit

he Arabat Spit within the ocean of Azov is that the longest spit within the world at about one hundred ten kilometre long. The spit is found between the city of Henichesk, Ukraine, on the north and also the north-eastern shores of peninsula on the south, and separated from Henichesk by the Henichesk Strait. The Arabat Spit ranges from 270 meters to eight kilometre wide with a complete area of 395 km2.
