Fateh Prakash Palace Museum of Chittorgarh is located at the eastern end of the Banbir-ki-Diwar. It is an important tourist attraction. People with a special interest in history would love the place. The museum houses a large collection of historical artefacts, paintings, and sculptures which were either made during the Rajputana rule or were built later to immortalise the brave Rajput Kings. Some items of the museum belong to the Maurya and Gupta period. These artefacts depict different aspects of the Buddhist and Hindu culture. The museum also preserves various articles discovered while excavating these ancient sites.

Fateh Prakash Palace Museum was a beautiful palace; and was converted in to museum by Department of Archaeology & Museums in 1968, in order to preserve and highlight the heritage of this region. Maharaja Fateh Singh Ji built this palace at Chittorgarh in the 19 Cent. A.D. The collection includes objects of stone age, 632 sculptures, 2061 coins, 125 paintings and 318 arms & weapons, 2 inscriptions, 55 terracotta figures, 18 metallic objects and 70 objects of art & craft.
