Detail InformationEdit

World Peace Pagoda (Shanti Stupa) is balanced on a slim ridge high on top of Phewa Tal, the brilliant-white Shanti Stupa in Pokhara could be a large Buddhist stupa that was made by Buddhist monks from the japanese Nipponzan Myōhōji organisation. Besides being a formidable sight in itself, the shrine could be a viewpoint that offers spectacular views of the Annapurna vary and Pokhara town. The shining golden sculpture depicts Gautama Siddhartha(Buddha) within the posture he assumed once he was born.
