The Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology of San Miguel de Azapa is a museum located 500 meters from the namesake town in the district of Arica, which is part of the Region of Arica and Parinacota in the north of Chile.
Founded in 1967, the museum belongs to the University of Tarapaca and is known for housing the mummies of the Chinchorro culture, the oldest in the World.
The museum is accessed via a country road, before arriving in San Miguel de Azapa, by the route A-27.
