Goddess Ambe Temple is dedicated to one amongst the kinds of divinity Amba. As per legend, deity Amba was worshipped by the deities of the pre-Aryan race at this place. together with the footprints of the deity, the imprints of her chariot are believed during been seen throughout the construction of the temple.

Goddess Ambe Temple is an ancient temple built in the twelfth century. As per mythology, the ceremony of tonsure of Lord krishna took place at this temple. A golden yantra which has inscriptions of about fifty one shlokas will be seen within the temple. The Bhavai, a popular folks drama, is performed within the courtyard of the temple.
