Sri Raghunathji Temple, Mount Abu is dedicated to Lord Raghunathji who is the presiding deity over here. legend says that, it was Sri Ramanand who placed the statue of Raghunathji inside the temple, in the 14th Century AD. Sri Ramanand was reputed as a very great preacher. There is a nice story related to the Nakki Lake. It is said that there resided a beautiful princess in this region. She had a step mother who proved fatal in her love affair with the King’s son at Mount Abu. She died in young age and in her remembrance the temple was Built beside the lake which was dedicated to Lord Raghunathji.
