The Yusef Abad temple is one amongst the most important synagogues in Teheran, Iran. The official name of the Yusef Abad temple is Sukat Shalom temple. The initial building that housed the temple was completed within the early Fifties. With the expansion of the human population of the capital particularly within the Yusef Abad neighborhood, it absolutely was determined that a more recent building was required. With the assistance of local people leaders headed by Avraham Yusian, the development of the new facade was completed in Oct 1965. The doors of the new temple were opened to the general public on Rosh Hashonah 5726 (Hebrew calendar).
