Chocque Puqio, meaning “golden spring” is an ancient Wari site in the in the valley of Cusco, Peru. The site dates to c. 400 BC and lasted into the Colonial Period before its abandonment around 1530 AD. These extensive ruins are situated near the village of Hucarpay on the plain of Muyuna.
