Gees is a village in the Netherlands and it is part of the Coevorden municipality in Drenthe. Gees had a population of 610 in 2004. Its elevation is 16 meters (55 feet). Gees is also the term used to describe the patriotic feeling experienced by South Africans during the 2010 Fifa World Cup.
