BUS : Tourist can easily get regular buses to Manikaran from other major cities of the country.
Train : The closest major railway stations are at Pathankot (150 km) and Chandigarh (268 km). Train tickets from Delhi to Chandigarh cost around Rs 100 and this is a feasible option. Tickets from Delhi to Pathankot cost between Rs 200 and 250. Taxis are available at both the stations and this is the most comfortable option. They charge Rs 7 for a Tata Indica.
Air : The closest airport is located at the town of Bhuntar near Kullu (44 km) and this is a feasible option for all those who prefer to travel by air. The Bhuntar Airport is located around half an hour away from Manikaran. The airport receives flights from places such as Delhi, Pathankot, Chandigarh, Dharamshala and Shimla. Taxis are available outside the airport and these are the easiest option to reach Manikaran. They charge around Rs 200 for the trip.
