Detail InformationEdit

Fort San Pedro is a must visit historical site in Cebu. This magnificent structure was built under the supervision of Spanish Miguel Lopez de Legazpi in 1565 as a military defense structure. During World War II, it served as fortification for Japanese soldiers and an army camp during the battle of liberation.
The fort offers some really amazing natural beauty within the ruins of the structure. This is a triangular shaped fort facing the sea from two sides and the third side facing the land. It is now serving as a branch museum and is under the control of National Museum. The ruins of the structure also give a clear idea about the grand architecture of the building and grandeur of the rulers. The picnic area of the fort was once well maintained garden and now people can relax and enjoy their visit.
