Ganeshthan is one of the most famous Hindu temple in Bharatpur, Nepal. It has very long history. This temple is believed to have been built by the Muni Makunda sen King of Palap in 15th century, but the modern temple was made in 1952 during the period of King Mahendra. This temple is in Baseni ward no. 11 of Bharatpur Municipality. Every Tuesday peoples from different part of the city use to come for pray good Ganseha.
This is also famous junction for the marriage period (lagan,there are Mankamna, Sarswati Santoshi Mata , Kamleshowr Mahdev, Pasupatinath and other temple within the compound of Ganeshthan temple,this temple is in the Devghat Aria Development Project. This temple is less than a kilometer from the Bharatpur police academy, and two km from Pokhara Bus Park of Narayangarh.
