Haldummulla is a town located in Badulla District of Uva Province, Sri Lanka. The town is popular for its archeological sites such as Soragune Devalaya and Ancient Dutch Fort.
Soragune Devalaya-The ancient Katharagama Devalaya of Soragune temple has been built during the era of King Valagamba. Some ancient ruins, such as, stone scripture, old stone pillars, slabs and buildings with drawings could be found at the site.
Ancient Dutch Fort-This Ancient Portuguese Fort was built on the summit of Haldumulla hill. It has been built on a strategic location to get a very good view of the surrounding area.
Some evidences of Prehistoric burial ground and settlement are also found in 2010-2011.
