Detail InformationEdit
Located in the heart of Horse Guards, the Household Cavalry Museum offers a behind-the-scenes look at the uniquely British blend of pageantry and pomp that is day-to-day life for the regiment who guard The Queen. You can see troopers working with horses in the original 18th-century stables and try on real helmets and cuirasses. It displays fascinating rare exhibits, uniforms, and audio visual presentations and an opportunity to view outside either the daily Guard Change on Horse Guards at 10.50 am (9.50am Sundays), the Guard Inspection (4pm) or mounted sentry changes on the hour (10am – 4pm). A London must-see presenting a uniquely British blend of pageantry, tradition and history.
