Brèibhig is a village on Lewis in the Outer Hebrides, Scotland. According to Magne Oftedal’s ‘The Village Names of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides’ (Oslo, 1954), the name Brèibhig is derived from the Old Norse Breiðvík (‘broad bay’).
